About Megan

Megan Abell was born in Pittsburgh, USA, to a British father and American mother. She moved to New York City after high school to pursue her dreams to be an actress and filmmaker. She now lives and works in London, UK.

During her years in NYC, Megan received a BFA in Film and Television production from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as well as completed the acting conservatory program at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. In her final year at NYU, she was one of the producers on the documentary short “Reporting on the Times: The New York Times and the Holocaust.” This short went on to open at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Megan has been a member of two theatre companies:  TP&co (a repertory company focusing on off-Broadway Shakespeare productions) and  The Wrong House Theatre (a sketch comedy troupe). Besides acting for The Wrong House, she was also involved in the writing of sketches as well as collaborating on the costumes and set dressing.

Both of Megan's parents are dermatologists and so she has always had a keen interest in skincare.  She is licensed aesthetician and in her free time enjoys producing her video blog about skincare and wellness.
